Use case: more than one branch

Office scenario for a contractor who operates more than one pharmacy branch. Not a testimonial and not a new rule.

List each branch

On the application, name each pharmacy branch you operate. Do not omit a branch the office will see on company or register records.

The office may ask a branch-specific question during review. Reply through the application routes shown in your account.

Talking to IPCN at The Pharmacy Show does not replace listing branches on the form.

Contractors acting on “Use case: more than one branch” should list every pharmacy branch they operate if they apply, enter GPhC details that match the applicant, and add a Companies House number only when the form asks for a company. The office may look those records up. A match is not approval. Accept the agreement version shown on screen; acceptance is recorded with a timestamp.

How the process works

This article, “Use case: more than one branch”, explains a membership or network topic in ordinary language. The office reviews every application by hand. Membership is £240 per year excluding VAT (£288 including VAT).

Around “Use case: more than one branch” you can also read About, Why join, Apply, Contact, Blog, Guides, Events and News. Use Contact for press, partnerships or event interest. Do not send a membership application through Contact, and do not expect Contact to move an application that is already in review.

No payment is taken when you submit an application. The IPCN office reviews every application. Approval is not automatic. If you share “Use case: more than one branch”, share the public page rather than a screenshot of an application. Do not put GPhC numbers, company numbers or personal emails on a public hub. Independent contractors remain responsible for their own pharmacies. IPCN membership does not replace professional indemnity, an NHS contract, or the public register.

Who should read this

“Use case: more than one branch” is a public article. You do not need an account to read it. Applying is a separate step at /apply/start. A Contact message does not create a membership.

Membership is £240 per year excluding VAT (£288 including VAT). No payment is taken when you submit an application. The IPCN office reviews every application. Approval is not automatic. Payment invitations follow approval. If you are ready to apply after reading “Use case: more than one branch”, start the five-step form at /apply/start. The public launch event is Friday 10 October 2026; confirm the venue with the office before you travel.

The network does not standardise how you run your pharmacy and does not act as a buying group.

When you finish “Use case: more than one branch”, either start /apply/start, write to the office, or stop. There is no third form that creates membership. Member sign in is only for people the office has already confirmed. Attending a public event or visiting the website does not confirm membership.

Contractors who act on “Use case: more than one branch” should keep GPhC details consistent with the applicant, list every branch they operate if they apply, and wait for the office review before expecting a payment invitation.
